If room planning is not needed

If you do not need to plan rooms for your lessons, you can skip this article. The application will ignore room assignments when generating your timetable.

Defining the available room list for a lesson

Note: Before assigning a list of available rooms to your lessons, ensure that you have defined all the rooms in your school (for all buildings).

In the Lessons > Edit page, there is a field labeled Rooms where you can specify the list of available rooms for each lesson. For ease of use, we have predefined five options for this:

1. All rooms - All rooms are available for the lesson.
2. Default - Only rooms that match the lesson's teacher, classes, and subject are available (these fields should be defined when configuring the rooms).
3. Ignore - No room will be assigned to this lesson.
4. Online - If the lesson is held online, no physical room will be planned.
5. Custom list - Select any subset of rooms available in the current building.
